Mail ArchiveWhat is Mail Archive Solution? The Mail Archive Solution keeps all your incoming and outgoing emails for your future reference when necessary. The solution works on the basis of First In First Out (FIFO). How does the FIFO work? When you subscribe to 1GB of AfterOffice Mail Archive Solution, all your incoming and outgoing emails will be stored under the 1GB disk space. Once your 1GB Mail Archive space is filled up, the system will start purging emails of the earliest date in order to keep the latest incoming and outgoing emails. How much Mail Archive disk space do I need?
1GB is estimated to sufficiently store 7 days of email. Therefore we suggest our customers to use the guideline of 1GB for 1 week duration of mail archive. For example, if you need 1 quarter of mail archive at anytime, the estimated storage space you will need is 1GB x 4 weeks x 3 months = 12GB. How do I access my Mail Archive? You can access your Mail Archive via your webmail hosted with AfterOffice. If at anytime you feel that you want to keep some earliest email archive yet do not feel like upgrading to a larger disk space, you have the choice of saving those archived emails into the AfterOffice Storage Center (provided you are subscribed to the Supreme Pro package or or Storage Center service) and purge these emails from your mail archive. How much does the Mail Archive Solution cost? AfterOffice Mail Archive Solution is the most affordable solution starting at as low as RM 120 per year.
What if I want the mail archive backed up periodically in DVD? Yes, we do provide the service of backing up your mail archive to DVD. The emails are in .eml and stored under the respective mail directories. The services are provided at the following prices.
